We live about twenty five minutes away. When we go out for breakfast, this is absolutely our go-to. Gretchen's can be very popular (crowded) during the tourist season and unless you are there just after they open, you will probably have to wait to get a table on summer weekends. However, that is truly indicative of just how good this place is. We are retired and my wife and I agree that it is amongst the best cafes we have ever visited.

A popular place for breakfast or lunch. Even if there is a line to get in, it is worth the wait. The wait is not too long, they get you seated pretty quick. The food is fresh and delicious. There are daily specials. Excellent service!
